How to Use Tiler Quote
This guide walks you through creating quotations, setting units, tiles & binders, accessories, labor rates, saving quotes, and exporting invoices.

1) Start a new quotation
- Open Tiler Quote on your device.
- Tap New Quotation.
- Enter a Room Name (e.g., “Kitchen”).
2) Room area & units
For Room Area you can use Calc or Manual entry. Supported units: m², cm², in², ft².
- Manual: pick the unit you measured with and enter the value directly.
- Change unit quickly: long-press on the field to switch units.
Tip: The calculator handles multiple walls/floors.
3) Tiles & skirting
- Enter Tile Length and Width.
- Long-press a dimension to apply to length, width & skirting height.
- Choose material: tile or mazeras.
- Skirting: auto-fills sensible height where needed.
- Tiles storage:
- If tile exists, it auto-fills pieces-per-box, etc.
- If new, enter pieces/box and price once — saved for next time.
4) Labor pricing
Long-press on Labor to choose:
- % — percent of materials
- /m² — fixed rate per square metre
5) Binders (cement / adhesive)
Select what you’re using so the app applies the right coverage.
- Default example: 50kg bag ≈ 4.59 m².
- 30×30 cm tiles ≈ 17 pcs (~3 boxes) per bag in example.
- Adjust Binder Rate to match your crew.
Important: Confirm binder type before calculating.
6) Accessories & spacers
- Select items (grout, spacers, steel wool, etc.).
- Pick the spacer size for the job.
7) Calculate & Save
- Tap Calculate. Your quote saves to Saved Quotes.
- Open Saved Quotes for full materials summary & costs.
8) Manage quotes & tasks
- Move quotes to Pending Tasks to track ongoing work.
- Print a Purchase List for store runs.
- Or Load to Invoice to prepare billing.
9) Create & export invoice (PDF)
- Tap Invoice and enter your Business Info (saved locally).
- Save, add Client Name, choose Export PDF.
- Find it in Invoices to share/edit/delete.
10) Tiles, mazeras & requirements
Maintain these on the main screen to speed up future quotes.
Pro tips & long-press actions
- Room area: long-press to switch units.
- Tile dimensions: long-press to apply one value to all.
- Labor: long-press to choose % vs /m².
- Tiles storage: set pieces/box & price once, re-used later.
Check before export: ensure binder type/rates match your method.

Q: My tile isn’t auto-filling pieces/box.
A: Enter pieces/box and price once — saved for future quotes.
Q: Can I price labor per m² instead of %?
A: Yes. Long-press on Labor and select /m².
Q: Can I change units later?
A: Yes. Long-press the room area value to switch units any time.
