We respect your privacy. This page explains what we collect on tilerquote.com and why, especially for our waitlist / updates form.

What we collect

• Email (required for the waitlist) and name (optional) that you submit.
• Technical info: user-agent (browser type), referrer URL, and page path where you subscribed.
• UTM parameters (if present in the URL): utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content.

How we use your information

• To email you about launch and important product updates.
• To understand which pages or campaigns led to sign-ups (aggregated stats).

Legal basis

Our legal basis for processing your email is your consent when you submit the form.

Storage and security

Waitlist entries are stored in Google Firebase / Firestore. We apply security rules so the public can only create entries; reads/updates/deletes are blocked. We don’t sell or rent your personal data.

Retention

We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We remove entries that bounce or are clearly invalid.

Local storage & cookies

We use the browser’s localStorage to remember if you already joined on this device so the button shows “Subscribed ✓”. Keys we set:

• wlJoined — "1" if you subscribed on this device
• wlEmail — your email (to show a friendly note)
• wlName — your name if provided
• wlSaved — "1" after we successfully save your entry to Firestore

You can clear these any time via your browser settings.

Sharing

We don’t sell your data. We may use service providers (e.g., Firebase/Google) to store and process the data securely.

Children

Tiler Quote is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us to remove it.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in our emails, or contact us directly.
• Delete request: email us and we’ll remove your waitlist entry.
• Update your email by subscribing again with the new address and asking us to remove the old one.

We may update this page as the product evolves. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, if changes are significant, we’ll post a notice on the site.
